logistics

This week I was invited to a few events. Since I work in Rome but live an-hour-ride from the city every event invitation needs a precise logistic. The most important thing is a huge bag into which I can squeeze all the things I will need at work, after work, before the event and during the event. Then I have to choose something appropriate to wear - not too fancy so I won't feel strange at work but not to dull to feel good in the evening and not to sexy because I have to catch a late train back home. Last thing - praying that the event won't last too long so I will be able to catch the last train. Here you can see what I wore to the opening of Fiorucci's Love Therapy exhibition.

Questa settimana sono stata invitata a qualche evento. Siccome lavoro a Roma ma abito ad un ora di treno fuori città ogni invito richiede una complicata logistica. La cosa più importante - una enorme borsa dove posso mettere tutte le cose che mi servono al lavoro, dopo lavoro, prima dell'evento e durante l'evento. Poi devo decidere cosa mettermi - non troppo vistoso perché devo sentirmi al mio agio al lavoro, non troppo noioso per sentirmi bene all'evento e non troppo sexy per non attirare troppa attenzione sul treno di ritorno. L'ultima cosa - prego che l'evento non finisca troppo tardi per non perdere l'ultimo treno. Ecco cosa ho indossato all'inaugurazione della mostra di Fiorucci Love Therapy.
